PDP claim
  • Step 1: Using our search engine on the Claims Page, begin a search for the exact same pre-packaged vacation you have already booked with us. Enter the destination, departure city, hotel and both departure date and duration
  • Step 2: Find your package (same tour operator, date, duration, flight itinerary (same airports, times & flight numbers, class of service), room category and meal plan (ex: All-Inclusive, etc.). Please pay special attention to your class of service (example: Class N or Class X) in your flight itinerary for all of your flights as they sometimes vary.
  • Step 3: Click CONTINUE to list available packages.
  • Step 4: Click BOOK NOW on your package to verify the price. You will continue on to the Vacation Package Details page where you will find the verified price of the vacation package. Select book now one more time to bring you to the Claim your vacation page. Fill out the Price Drop Claim form and click Submit My Claim.

The Price Drop Protection program (also referred to as "PDP" in these documents) is governed by the terms and conditions set out below as well as the itravel2000.com Terms and Conditions on the itravel2000.com website and set out in your booking invoice. Any terms not defined below have the meanings provided in the itravel2000.com Terms and Conditions.

"Customer" means an individual that has purchased a Qualifying Trip from itravel2000.com.

"Credit Card Holder" refers to the Customer identified in the payment & deposit summary of the booking invoice. The Credit Card holder may differ from the Lead Passenger/Billed Customer, though usually they are one in the same. Applicable rebates will be paid and mailed to the address specified in the Client Information section on the booking invoice.

"Qualifying Trip" refers to one of the products listed in Schedule "A", purchased for an adult from itravel2000.com (and paid in full at the time of booking) during the offer period and for the departure dates specified in Schedule "A".

How the Price Drop Protection Program Works: Price Drop Protection allows our customers the ability to recover some of their travel costs by permitting the Billed Customer(s) a one-time price adjustment of up to $250 per qualifying adult traveller on a Qualifying Trip. There will be a $50 administration fee linked to each approved PDP adult fare claimed. The maximum amount that can be claimed is $250 less the administration fee(s). If the new vacation package final price (including taxes and fees) advertised on the itravel2000.com website for the same Qualifying Trip (which has been booked and paid in full at time of booking) falls in excess of $50 (or more) less than the amount paid by the Billed Customer(s), itravel2000.com will refund the pricing difference to the Credit Card Holder up to a maximum of $250 per qualifying adult fare involved in the original Qualifying Trip booking (less the $50 admin fees per each adult).

Claims for PDP adjustments less than $50 will not qualify. Claims must be submitted/ received online to itravel2000.com for consideration no less than 14 days prior to departure date. One rebate cheque (covering the differences of all possible adult fare(s), less the administration fee(s) will be issued to the Credit Card Holder upon verification of the claim. Only applies to qualifying vacations shown with the accompanying Price Drop Logo listed on the itravel2000.com website. Limit one Price Drop Protection claim per booking. The first valid claim submitted will be the only claim considered for review.

SCHEDULE A: Qualifying vacation packages for this promotion are exclusively provided by these tour operators/ suppliers: Sunquest Vacations, Transat, WestJet Vacations, Air Canada Vacations, Hola Sun Holidays, Caribe Sol, Porter Escapes, Sunwing Vacations and Signature Vacations. In order to be eligible for the PDP program, pre-packaged vacations from these suppliers must have the PDP icon and it must be booked between Friday, June 1, 2018 to Wednesday, July 4, 2018(at 11:59pm EST) for travel departing between July 1 to August 31, 2018 and November 1 to April 30, 2019. Special supplier vouchers (such as but not limited to future travel vouchers provided by a tour operator such as Tour Operators' credits, reward dollars, Option Flex, Worry Free or cancellation waivers) may not be used in conjunction with the PDP program. Not combinable with Tour Operator/Third Party Price Drop Programs such as but not limited to Sunquest SPF, WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee, Air Canada Vacations Price Drop Guarantee, Sunwing Vacations Price Drop Guarantee and Transat Holidays Price Drop Guarantee. Not combinable with any other offer or discount.

The minimum purchase price on applicable vacation packages is $899.00 including taxes and fees (the total price) per each person booked (on adult fares). The total price does not include insurance costs and additional fees.

No cruise vacations, cruise packages, air/ flight only, cruise only, Europe vacations, Europe packages, hotel only "Build your own Vacation" packages, "roulette", "hotel surprise" “lucky deals” or other rotating hotel structure on vacation packages will apply. Group bookings do not qualify for PDP. Deviation bookings do not qualify for PDP.

A "Deviation Booking" is defined as a booking with significant changes in a vacation package that was originally eligible for the Price Drop Protection program. Such changes, alterations or additions include but are not limited to; passengers departing from separate gateways, passengers with different stays of duration, one passenger booking land only, air extensions, special requests, etc.

Qualifying products are restricted to adult fares for new pre-packaged Vacation packages booked between September 11th, 2017 and October 31st, 2017 (at 11:59pm EST) for travel departing between November 1st, 2017 and April 30th, 2018.

The Price Drop Protection program is not combinable with other itravel2000.com exclusive offers such as but not limited to any future travel voucher promotions; "Boxing Week" and "One Day Sale" “Promotion Codes”, "Promotional Gift Cards" or “Call in Bonus” promotions, unless otherwise stated.

How to Qualify for PDP
The Price Drop Protection logo must appear next to the vacation package when the customer has verified the price. To qualify for a PDP adjustment, the New Listed Price on the vacation must have the same departure date, duration, supplier, flight carrier, flight numbers (departure & return), class of service, hotel, room category and meal plan as the Qualifying Trip. The new advertised price will be compared against the invoice of the original Qualifying Trip booked by the Customer. Customers are solely responsible for researching package prices and initializing PDP claims online.

How to Initiate a Claim for PDP
itravel2000.com has created a tool on its website to assist Customer claims on the verification page of the booking process, the Price Drop Protection Claim link is provided. By filling out the details on the claims page (a pop-up page will appear), a Customer's claim is automatically submitted electronically to itravel2000.com. itravel2000.com reserves the right to request original documentation from the Customer as part of its verification process of the PDP claim. All claims (successful or not) will receive email notification. Claims will only be accepted through the online claim form and information will be electronically captured by itravel2000.com and reviewed within approximately 3 business days. Successful claimants and non-qualifying claimants will be contacted by itravel2000.com through regular email channels shortly thereafter. The comparable price on the lower priced vacation will only be considered if the new trip price is published on the itravel2000.com website and available at the time of verification. The determination of whether the PDP requirements have been met is within the sole discretion of itravel2000.com.

Invoice Payment Terms
To qualify for a claim, the invoice for the Qualifying Trip shall be paid in full at the time of booking. All payments are final. Additional fees added on to the customer's travels (taxes, insurance, change fees, seat selection and other add-ons/expenses) will not be considered as part of the original total cost paid by the Credit Card Holder/ Billed Customer. Claims only apply to the original, confirmed pricing. Packages must be paid in full at the time of original invoicing.

Valid Claim
Once the Customer has initiated the PDP claim request to itravel2000.com and if itravel2000.com determines that a PDP adjustment applies, a notice will be sent to the email address that is located in the Client Information section of the invoice, shortly after the 3 business day claim review period (approximately 3 business days). The rebate payment will be made by cheque payable to the Credit Card Holder and mailed to the address as detailed in the Client Information section of the invoice. PDP cheques will be issued approximately 21 days after the departure date. Bookings that are cancelled prior to departure are not eligible for a PDP claim. Additional modifications to the original booking before and/or after the claim is made will nullify any PDP claim. PDP Claims may only be made once. Additional PDP claims will not be considered.

Future Travel Voucher
All qualified bookings will receive a $50 FTV from itravel2000.com in addition to available FTV issued by Tour Operators such as, Sunwing and Transat. These FTVs are valid for one year from the date of issue and can be applied on future bookings as per the terms and conditions listed on the voucher. Minimum spend applies.

Miscellaneous
You agree that PDP does not constitute insurance, and your right to receive a claim is not dependent upon or linked to any actual loss that you may suffer. These terms and conditions are subject to amendments by itravel2000.com. itravel2000.com may cancel the PDP program at any time without prior written notice.
